		Govt.National Boys High School Kodakara A High School was opened at Gramodharanam Building in 1943. Sri. A. Velayudha Menon was it's first manager. After the death of Mr. Menon, his brother Govinda Menon and some wellwishers organised a committee for the management of this school. Sri. N. V. Krishna Varyar,(first headmaster), Dr. M.S. Menon , Sri. P.G.P.Pillai were the teachers during this period.
